The Great American Eclipse – The Best Viewing Party In Las Vegas

August 21st is the day many have been waiting for.

If you’re planning on going in to work late you can expect a once-in-a-lifetime treat from the universe!

The Great American Total Solar Eclipse will be peaking in Las Vegas around 10:32 a.m., and the CSN Planetarium is going to help us see it all safely!

In case you didn’t know, the 2017 solar eclipse will be the first to cross the entire continental United States in 99 years and will last from 9:09 a.m. until 11:52 a.m. Las Vegas will experience a 72 percent partial eclipse.

First 200 in attendance will get a free pair of viewing glasses with additional glasses available for purchase at $2ea.

The event will run from 9 a.m. and will end at noon on CSN’s North Las Vegas campus, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. For more information call 702-651-4138.

PS. If you can’t make it this time, the next solar eclipse is set to hit the continental Unites States on April 8th, 2024.
